HD Online TV

Dear Readers,

I decided to share my crisis solution for getting rid of the cable bill,at first I wasn't very excited about this but then with a little tweaking I found it to be a very immersing and rewarding experience,up until now I was paying really high fees to my cable provider but like all other folks the Economic crisis cam down hard on my family to.

We looking for ways to cut costs and on our list came up the cable bill,my first reaction was NO Way:)

I need to watch my sports and the kids their cartoons and then I started to look for cheaper alternatives until one day I came across the online TV option that allowed me to watch over all the TV channels I wanted at no cost.

So here we go:

1)Make sure you have a video card on your PC that supports TV out(HDMI connection)

I recommend here Nvidia or ATI for this.

Also make sure to have a very fast processor (any Intel above I3 and any new AMID chips)

and a broadband Internet connection(>50mbs) because when you will watch HD content you do not want any interruptions.

2)Buy a hdmi or HD extension cable (google "hdmi cable" ,"HD cable" or buy at your local electronics store)

Thus you can connect your PC to your TV (for the software settings on your PC please reffer to your Video Card instruction manual or leave a comment and I will make a hub page about this)

3) Google for online TV software or sites

Here you can find lots of free stuff but there can be some hassle to it ,you can also find a couple of good commercial online TV Software Products out there just google it!

Don't worry depending on what you like if you look hard enough you can find it for free.

So that's it folks enjoy

If you need any further info or have questions please leave a comment.

Best Regards

Nicholas
